Blum has already won probably the most famous award in the world of design: The "red dot award for high design quality. The Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen under the direction of Dr. Peter Zec understands design as a basic component for the promotion of economic and technological advances as well as an essential component for innovation and economic competition.

The "interzum award" is an industry-specific design award that recognises innovative products from the many presentations at the trade show. Winning the "interzum award" puts the focus on the products enabling the winners to successfully present their "award-winning" products before decision-makers from the industry, trades and commercial segments.

The Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (Federal Republic of Germany) has been awarding a prize for outstanding performances in the areas of product and communication design as well as design personality annually since 2006. Blum has been nominated for this prestigious title. The reasoning from the jury: "With these awards, the high quality standards of Blum in form AND function have been highlighted."
